hello out there folks virden is hosting Canadians for the second year in a row and it is a blast i made it last year but only in the steer wrestling and this year i mader in the bull dogging and team roping! i look forward to competing and its lots of fun see y'all out here in virden on august 4 5 6 thanks

nationals in july

hello folks i qualified for nationals in the team ropen and the bull dogging nationals are down in Gillette Wyoming and a bunch of us are going down we leave on the fifteenth of July and there a two long goes and a short go if we make it to the short go we will be back the Sunday the twenty forth it will be a fun time and lots of fun!!! thanks guys

finals supper and awards

after the final three go a rounds we had a supper and awards on the Sunday night i managed to pick up the finals buckle in the team roping and in the steer wrestling i got the year end champion buckle and i was the reserve or runner uop high point cowboy i got scholarships blankets and a breast collar! i was really happy with my year and weekend. thanks for reading!

finals

howdy folks we just had finals this past weekend in Hamiota it started friday was the first round. i roped my calf for forth place never got my steer thrown in the dogging won the team ropen with a 8.1 then on Saturday I roped my calf for forth place again and won the dogging with a 4.9 and won the team ropen with an 8.6 then sunday came final go around I just had to stick one on to stay in average in the calf ropen and I missed. steer wrestling i had the throw my dogging steer to seal the buckle and i did and then the team ropen came and we were high man back for finals and we were second in the go around with a 9.6 and got the finals buckle.thanks for reading folks

neepawa rodeo

hello folks neepawa rodeo was the weekend of forth and the fifth. It wasnt to ad of weekend i missed my calf in the calf ropen blew my knee out in the dogging and got some points in the team ropen. Sunday came along and missed my dam calf again got second in dogging and got some points in the team ropen again.i sealed up the season end at the end of this weekend. later folks!

Rapid city rodeo

hello folks rapid city rodeo was last weekend the twenty ninth weekend and we were in the big old rapid of city rodeo grounds. we went Friday night and hung out then woke up Saturday and had a shitty day did nothing i had a horrible day! missed my calf, hazer shut my dogging steer down, and heeler messed up in the team roping then Sunday came along and got fourth in calf roping and second in the dogging and waved er off in the team roping. all in all the weekend was ok but could of been a lot better! we have neepawa rodeo this weekend

Grunthal rodeo

hello everybody still a little behind on schedule the next rodeo i am going to blog about is grunthal it is forty five minutes south of Winnipeg so it is a bout a four four and a half hour drive for us. grunthal was an alright weekend it poured rain on Saturday but my events went alright i was fourth in calf roping. then sunday went a little better i was fourth in the calf roping again and won the bull dogging! then the rodeo was over the long boring drive home was ahead of us! i traveled with my bud ory and his brother so there was some stories to be shared that drive haha thanks folks just remember keep your sticks on the ice!

hamiota rodeo

Hello everybody! I am a little behind on schedule on blogs I am sorry folks. This weekend was not a very fun filled time it started on Friday by pouring rain and windy as hell all night! then during the night and it turned into snow and wind kept up ll night! when we woke up we could'nt see across the yard so we just hung out inside all day till the rodeo was suppose to start we had to go because we were hauling calves for the guys to rope. when we got to the rodeo there was only fourteen people entered in the whole rodeo! that night we canceled the highschool rodeo for the next day so we went back to orys house and hung out again and waited till the storm went away and drove home! thanks for listening folks until next if the women don't find ya handsome they should atleast find ya handy.

last couple rodeos

Hello there folks we had rodeos last couple weekends first one was in Pierson I was up in the MRCA Friday night and took fifth place home made 164 bucks and the high school rodeo on Saturday i was second in the calf ropen and won the steer wrestling and missed in the team ropen. on sunday i was fifth in calf ropen and won the steer wrestling and won the team roping I had a very good weekend I also won the high point cowboy. then this last weekend we were in Hamiota and it did not go very well for my partner and I. drew a runner in the steer wrestling and ate the dirt fairly hard but it was all good then in the team ropen my partner missed the heels. thanks for reading

rodeo season

howdy yall rodeo season is about to get under way in the next week i am just going to a team roping school this weekend here in virden. i have been taking this clinic for the last three years it's a good school. next weekend we are headed to Pierson Manitoba for a MRCA (Manitoba Rodeo Cowboys Association) i am steer wrestling and team roping there then Saturday and Sunday is the high school rodeo. I calf rope, team rope, and steer wrestle in the high school ones. well later yall have a gooder.

howdy y'all rodeo season is just around the corner. i am getting ready myself riding my horses gettin them in shape. heading up to Bismark this weekend for a ropen school. it shall be a grand time.
